Story of Body Building

In March 2019, I went to my Loku Amma's house to visit her. On the television, a reality game show was playing. I saw masculine women competing in that game. They had bulked up. (Yeah, I wasn't very open to the world, and up until A-level, I thought having a Facebook account on Amma's Nokia phone was something to be proud of.)

So back to the story:

I was amazed and shocked. I always wanted to look muscular and build my muscles, but I never tried because I thought it might be impossible. But they, those women, made me reconsider. Well, they must be going to a gym, having their own trainer, controlling their diet, taking supplements, and all that, but still, I wanted to look like them so bad.

So the very next day, I downloaded an app.

this is the app.

and started doing them. Gradually, I felt my shape changing and myself getting stronger.

and the most important thing is that it made me feel confident.

With A/L exams, I was kind of missing out on the workout sessions, and this happened. No matter how much I did the workout right, I couldn't look like them, and I was getting impatient. I needed results. As I said before, they were professional bodybuilders. I was feeling that this was not going to work, so for about a year and a half, I gave up.

but I started to feel less confident and bad about myself again, which made me think that working out had really changed how I felt about myself. So I started again, and still, those negative thoughts come and go. But I know that working out gives me mental peace.

me 😁
plus the health advantages.
