We Copy 👉👈

We copy everything.

That's the very basic way we learn.

When we learn to walk, talk, eat, and perform every other activity, we copy.

and then we repeat.

then we keep repeating them.

In this repetition, the most important thing happens.

before I tell you what it is. We're all different, you know. Let's consider an example. There's a ball, consider there's another person with you looking at the same ball. But the way you two capture and memorize it can be quite different. That is when the repetitions start to diverge from one another. You begin to do it in your own style based on how your brain perceives it. I don't know about you, but it fascinates me.

So we are unique—to be unique, we copied someone.

But when it comes to making art, I think some people have the wrong idea about copying.

They think that to be a unique artist, you should have something of your own. but forget the very fundamental skill that is needed to be unique. which is copying.

So if you are a young artist who tries to find your own unique style, passion, or genre, first try to copy the art that inspired you to be an artist, then copy another, then try another one. Once you get it right, with time (it doesn't actually require much time; you just need to find the correct switch. but sometimes it may take time, so don't give up, EVER), you begin to make your own art in your own style.

So don't be afraid to copy.

Copy is essential to learning and finding your real identity.

So, in the coming posts, I'll discuss the things I copied or was inspired by along the way.
