I am vengeance, I am the night, I am Batman!

Trust me I was looking at this blank screen for few minutes.

I can't decide where to start talking about him.

We all have heard about him since a child. But do we all know him?

Gotham Knight
Bruce Wayne; the son of Famous Thomas Wayne; billionaire of Gotham city. His parents were murdered right in front of his eyes, which traumatized him for his entire life. but this caused him to be the batman. He did unimaginable things to be one of the strongest humans on the earth. His superpower is his bare strength, right techniques and the optimal use of technology. he is also known as the greatest detective on the earth. his observation skills and the reflexes are incredible.
I'm still trying to understand his inner character, such a mysterious guy.

Batman's birth happened on comics...

Batman: Year One
A comic by Frank Miller

I highly recommend reading this,
if you are new to this whole batman comic thing.
10/10

Batman gained unimaginable popularity all over the world.

So back to our main goal of the post, sharing the best batman movies I watched.

Batman Trilogy by Christopher Nolan (2005,2008,2012)

Also known as the dark knight trilogy.
if you are a movie geek you probably know
Christopher Nolan.
Great director who directed movies like
interstellar, inception etc...
so, in these movies we meet characters we can't forget when we say batman and get to see how he interacts with them.
They are, Scarecrow, Ras Al Ghul, Bane, Joker, Cat woman & Two Face
I must say something about the Joker.
We meet the joker in the 2nd movie from the three, and he was played by Heath Ledger,
one of the greatest actors on the planet.
When it was announced that Heath is casted as Joker,
most of the people said he won't be able to portrait the real Joker as he has a soft voice and facial features. But he took the challenge and isolated him in a hotel room with comic books and he really was turning into joker in real life too. Heath was a method actor and set also claimed that sometimes even though he was acting they got terrified for real
The shootings were ended. Yet, most people say he couldn't turn back to who he was before. He died in a hotel room due to the abuse of prescribed medication.
and he won the Oscar for best actor for the character. Rest In Peace. We will always remember you.

Batman: Gotham Knight (2008)

I talked about this in my previous post.
This is an Anime styled Batman Anthology movie.
What I love about this movie the most is could see more of his inner character than the action scenes. It was new experience to see how batman feels inside.

Batman: Under the Red Hood (2010)

The connection between the robins and batman, sometimes get pretty complicated. So, this story revolves around the 2nd Robin, Jason Todd who was the most rebellious Robin. Batman found him as a little boy while he tries to steel the wheels of the Bat mobile. Imagine the bravery someone should have to steal from Batman. Batman recognized his skills and trained him as his Robin.
the story starts with the tragic death of Jason by Joker. Unexpected things begin to happen since then. The end scene was mind blowing, which I'm not going to spoil here. Voice casting was amazing, really abled to express the emotions of the characters.

Batman: Year One (2011)

This is the animated adaptation of the comic I mentioned before.
There was a time Bruce was lost. He couldn't figure out how he can save all this people, how to use practically the stuff he learned all these years and how to fight for justice in the shadows. so, to travel with him through that rough path this will be a great opportunity to you. Really worth watching.

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (2012,2013)

this came out as two movies, But Deluxe version was made by combining the two in 2013. the story begins with a news article that says it's been 10 years after last seen of Batman. You guessed right. He retired. Can you imagine a Gotham without a Batman? Will he be able to stay retired? Can he stay retired?

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013)

This is exactly not a Batman movie, as you can see it's a JL movie. Hope you all know The Flash. The main story revolves around him. Barry Always wanted to stop his mother's death. and finally, he could do it. He broke the timeline. But he changed the whole world with that single act. So, the reason I added this to the list is, what changes happened to the Batman with this. You are never going to guess. unexpected scenarios occurred. The ending is more interesting.

Joker (2019)

A movie shook me to the core. I couldn't sleep on my bed for days after watching the movie, I literally slept on the floor. I was kind of get attached to it like I watched it 9 times in 5 days. Felt hella depressed. Again, this is not a Batman movie, but we meet little Bruce here. The scene lasted for few minutes, and it was such a twist.
Something about the Joker, (again)
the character is played by Joaquin Pheonix, who every time do so many sacrifices to do the character. Even for this he lost tremendous amount of weight to look like the ideal Joker.
And He won Oscar for the best actor that year for the Joker.  The connection between Batman and Joker is pretty Tricky. There are so many origin stories of Joker yet my favorite one is the one Arthur Fleck (Joker's real identity) becomes Joker due to Batman's mistake, which makes their connection even more complicated.
In the movie Batman: Under the Red Hood (2010), Until Jason dies at the hand of the Joker, Batman was thinking his Greatest mistake was creating the Joker.
and in the movie, Batman: Return of the Dark knight (2013), Psychologists shows that Joker exists because of Batman, he did crime to get his attention which is kind of feel like the truth.
spoiler Alert:
Joker kills himself while laughing in front of the Batman. Batman burns the body there, while it was burning batman saw the skeleton was also laughing at him. All he could say was "stop laughing" to the skeleton. It felt weird, like batman was also tangled in their connection for years. (Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (2012,2013)

Batman (2022)

The latest and the best batman live action movie I've ever watched. Batman is played by Robert Pattinson who was again criticized he would fail to bring out the batman with in him but did the character the best. It was a real interpretation of
how people treated the Batman, how scared they was of him. And we meet a very unique villain we didn't meet before in live action movies, The Riddler. Great story telling 10/10

Ben Affleck's Batman

Ben Affleck played the role of Batman for five movies which two of them are yet to come.
  1. Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
  2. Suicide Squad (2016)
  3. Justice League (2017)
  4. Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom (2023)
  5. The Flash (2023)
So, when we talk about the Batman movies, we have to talk about him for sure. Batman Vs. Superman is a great movie. in Suicide Squad he came as a cameo.
Justice League movie was a failure actually. Zack Snyder was the original director of the movie, but with his daughter's death he couldn't pay more attention to the movie.
But DC wanted the movie to be released according to the schedule they have planned. so, they hired Russo brothers for directorship. What happened to the batman character with this was his entire character was mistreated. Batman's originality wasn't showed well.
So, to do the justice to the movie and the characters a huge campaign was held all over the world with the #releasethesnydercut. And they finally won, Snyder cut was released as 6 episodes series on HBO Max.
Couldn't watch it yet.

The next two movies will be the last to see Ben Affleck as the Batman.

So, this post is the longest one I've posted.
Sorry if it bored you, Yet I had to share these guys.
This is what happens when you are a Batmaniac.
Thank You for reading.
